Social Crochet Events
As well as running crochet workshops and Learn to Crochet sessions here in Melksham, I also host relaxed social crochet events throughout the year. They’re all about carving out time for yourself, meeting like-minded makers, and being part of a growing crochet community!
YARN & YAP
Yarn & Yap is my absolute favourite kind of crochet event – a big, social crochet get-together in Melksham where we all turn up with our hooks, eat cake, drink tea, and have a really good natter while crocheting.
You bring whatever you’re working on (or something you’ve been meaning to start for weeks…), plonk yourself down, and enjoy a few hours of proper switch-off time with a room full of like-minded yarn lovers.
And here’s the fun bit…every Yarn & Yap comes with a goody bag…and inside is a surprise mini make kit!
These are held at a larger external venue in Melksham so there’s loads of space to spread out, crochet comfortably, and really soak up that lovely, chatty, creative buzz. There’s no teaching – just relaxed crochet, friendly faces, plenty of laughs, and cake (always cake).

Held in a larger external venue in Melksham, these workshops are a chance to crochet alongside a room full of like-minded yarn lovers – chatting, laughing, stitching, drinking tea, eating cake, and enjoying that lovely buzz you only get when lots of creative people are together.
