Description
Ready to dive into the world of crochet? This Learn to Crochet Kit is my bestselling box of joy — and for good reason! It’s packed with everything you need to get going from your very first chain to your first snuggly finished project. You don’t even need to leave the sofa (except maybe for a biscuit break)…everything’s in the box and supported by friendly, easy-to-follow videos.
Inside your crochet starter kit, you’ll find:
🧶 A soft grip 5mm crochet hook (comfy on the hands)
🧶 50g of chunky acrylic yarn to practise with
🧶 100g of soft, chunky yarn (70% acrylic, 30% wool) to make your very own cosy cowl
🧶 A detailed instruction booklet with step-by-step UK crochet terms, full-colour photos, and video links
🧶 A stitch marker and a darning needle for finishing off
🧶 Follow-up support by email if you get a bit stuck or just want a nudge of encouragement!
You’ll start by learning the basic stitch and building your confidence with the practice yarn…and once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be able to whip up a gorgeous chunky cowl. A proper “I made this!” moment.
This kit is designed with adults in mind but can be brilliant for kids too (with a bit of grown-up help). It’s a fab way to learn at your own pace and makes a lovely mindful project or thoughtful handmade gift.
Pick your favourite cowl yarn colour from the dropdown…and if you fancy some extra support, I also offer friendly 1-to-1 learn to crochet sessions.
Go on, treat yourself… or get someone else hooked (pun absolutely intended).

Oh my goodness this is such a good kit. It has everything you need to get going and is so easy to follow. Things like this are often not very intuitive but it’s like having someone sat beside you talking it through, step by step, nice and calmly – but you’re in the comfort of your own home! I’ve tried before and it’s been too hard but I think I’ve got the hang of it now. Great quality kit and I’d really recommend it.

I bought this “Learn to Crochet” after I retired and I’ve never looked back. Nicola’s kits are so easy to follow with explanatory videos. I’d never crocheted before and had no “one to one” instruction as I’m not local to Nichola. I’ve completed many of her kits since both for myself and for gifts. Highly recommended!

I’d tried to learn to crochet many times over the years and given up all hope! I saw this kit online and thought one last try…It included everything I needed to get started and clearly written instructions with pictures and some wool to practice before I started the real thing. The thing that helped me the most personally were the videos, Nicola explains what to do as she slowly shows you what she means . I could replay these videos as many times as I needed until something finally clicked and all of a sudden I was the very proud owner of a beautiful scarf that I’d crocheted all by myself. This was the start of my love for crochet…and I’ve been hooked ever since! I sometimes even replay the videos now, years later when I forget what I need to do! I can’t recommend this kit enough.

I have always wanted to learn to crochet and after many failed attempts I thought I would try this kit… safe to say it didn’t disappoint! It’s easy to follow and it’s almost like Nicola is sat next to me talking me through step by step! Highly recommend!
