Crochet Pattern: Stars and Stripes Blanket – Keep warm and snuggly when the seasons change with my NEW Stars and Stripes Blanket! This crocheted blanket is perfect for cosying up with on the sofa, or throwing over the back of a chair by the fire. With two colourways available, the hardest part will be choosing which shades of yarn for the project.
The Stars and Stripes Blanket is great if you’ve just started crocheting and are looking for your first big crochet project. The main blanket uses one main crochet stitch, and the stars are made using 3 other basic crochet stitches; all skills in the pattern come with accompanying mini videos. The pattern also includes step by step instructions with pictures and is suitable for someone who has crocheted before. A finished blanket measures approximately 115cm wide and 168cm long.
You will need:
- 15 x 100g balls of chunky yarn
- a 5mm hook
- a stitch marker
- a pair of scissors
- a darning needle
