I’m so excited to be able to share my new logo with you! Over the past few months, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the incredible Victoria from Isle of Design who has created the most perfect new logo for me.
It was a tricky decision trying to decide whether I wanted a new logo or not, but I’ve had the original one since I started my small business, and I really felt it was time for a change. My business has moved on and changed a lot from when I started up, I wanted my new logo to reflect this.
So, why the bird I hear you ask?! Well, firstly I love birds, nearly as much as I love crochet! Last spring, whilst in lockdown with no workshops taking place, I was visited daily by a very friendly Robin who I named Neil. He would feed out of my hand, come into the Cabin for mealworms and other tasty treats, and even appeared in a few videos…
When I spoke to Victoria about ideas for a new logo, I mentioned Neil and my love of birds. I had no idea about colours, only that I didn’t want a Robin to look too ‘Christmassy.’ Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas (nearly as much as crochet and birds!) but I didn’t feel that was quite right for an all year round logo.
I can honestly say that I was completely blown away by the design that Victoria came up with – it’s absolutely perfect in every way….and the colours are delicious! Would you like to know a secret? I couldn’t quite choose between two of the designs that Victoria initially created for me so the one that nearly got away will be making an appearance in the next couple of weeks…watch this space!
