To make a Handy Bag you will need:

✿ a whole bobbin of t shirt yarn

✿ a stitch marker

✿ an 8mm hook

✿ a darning needle

✿ a pair of scissors

This pattern includes step by step instructions with photos, as well as videos to explain stitches, and is suitable for someone who has crocheted before.

These baskets are made of Hoooked Zpagetti which is 100% recycled textile yarn made of superior quality recycled textile selvedges and remnants. The original Zpagetti t-shirt yarn is handpicked and selected by the Hoooked Production Centre in Portugal. The composition of most of the Zpagetti T-shirt yarn is cotton with a small percentage elastane. Because the yarn is made from recycled textiles, you will find that it can differ in thickness and elasticity, and may sometimes have knots where it has been joined.

Crocheting with t shirt yarn is a little different to crocheting with DK or chunky yarn. You may need to hold the hook differently to normal, and you might need to use more of an arm movement rather than a wrist movement. It can feel like a bit of a work out at times so please take plenty of rests!
