Santa Claus Basket Crochet Kit

£18.00

Santa Claus Basket Crochet Kit:Β  A perfect Christmas gift for filling with chocolates nuts or your friends’ favourite smellies! These are made from t shirt yarn which is made from recycled t shirts.Β  They are firm to the touch and are very hardwearing.

These baskets are made using Hoooked Zpagetti which is 100% recycled textile yarn made of superior quality recycled textile selvedges and remnants. The original Zpagetti t-shirt yarn is handpicked and selected by the Hoooked Production Centre in Portugal.Β  The composition of most of the Zpagetti T-shirt yarn is cotton with a small percentage elasthan. Because the yarn is made from recycled textiles, you will find that it can differ in thickness and elasticity, and may sometimes have knots where it has been joined.Β  Please note that colours may differ slightly from the pictures.Β  If you can’t see a colour you like, please get in touch and I’ll rummage in the secret stash for you!

Crocheting with t shirt yarn is a little different to crocheting with DK or chunky yarn.Β  You may need to hold the hook differently to normal, and you might need to use more of an arm movement rather than a wrist movement.Β  It can feel like a bit of a work out at times so please take plenty of rests!

Inside the kit you’ll find: a whole bobbin of red t shirt yarn, the pattern, and some extra black, gold and white yarn.Β  You will need a 7mm or 8mm crochet hook (depending on the thickness of t shirt yarn).Β  To add a hook to your order, click here.Β  Refills are also available for this kit.Β  Click hereΒ for more details.

The pattern includes step by step instructions with photos (including how to crochet the star), and is suitable for someone who has crocheted before.
